This post is underwhelming compared to my last one, but one thing I started doing in my study guides is instead of just writing "What group is most affected by (certain disease)?" I started writing "What special patient group is most affected by (certain disease)?"
I guess it's sort of "cute" but really, when you think about it, it's not only an identifying risk factor, but for some people their disease is part of their identity. Every disease has a psychological component. I want to introduce my patients as "this is my special patient," but I don't know how that would really carry with my patients or supervisors, everyone might think it's cheesy. oh well.
