Austin Awesomeness

I'm really proud of the great bands that came out of Austin, like:

The Sound Team
Golden Bear
Shearwater
Okkervil River
I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness
And You Will Know Us By the Trail of the Dead

It's such a great city, and it did so much for my personal growth.  It's a warm city, really fun and young and hip and just so much warmer and personable than New York or Chicago.  I really want to practice medicine there (and I have this really lame joke about how I'd not be able to have enough patients as a cardiologist because so many people in Austin are healthy cyclists, haha).

Austin rocks.
