that last post was terribly bleak.  i'm feeling better now, but just because I talked to someone great.  it's amazing when people realize your potential and inspire you.  I also felt better kind of imagining a life where I'm consistently making a concrete difference in the future.  I'm really excited about a career in surgery and hope it all works out.  follow your dreams and get there.
