Continuing with the microblogging style, I have a few things to say on dating as a med student and almost intern.
Make sure it's not one-sided. You're overloaded with work and it's extra draining if you're the one doing all the planning, cooking, etc. Set expectations and let the other person know your schedule and what it's like being a medical student or resident. It's easier for people to then understand how stressed and exhausted you can be. It helps giving people a clear perspective of what you're going through in your training. Don't be afraid to bespontaneous and surprising, either.
You don't have much free time so go to that restaurant you've been putting off going to for so long, or get those flowers or do anything else you've been meaning to do. Get as much work in the hospital/your studies as you can so you can free up time. Speak your mind, about how you feel and reasons why. People will keep acting a certain way or thinking in the same way unless you bring it up. Never raise your voice, or be impatient even though you have so much to do on so little sleep. More entries to follow, thanks for reading.
